We envision a Seychelles where people know their history, feel a deep sense of belonging to the land and to each other, and collaborate to shape a future rooted in truth, connection and sustainability.
Promoting sustainable tourism and ensuring the beauty of our paradise endures for generations to come.

We’re not here to preserve culture as it is - we’re here to understand it, question it and consciously evolve it.
Through visual storytelling, open dialogue and community gatherings, we explore the roots of Seychellois identity : our history, our systems, our environment, and the quiet truths that live in between them.
We believe identity is not fixed. It’s shaped by :

In Seychelles, we often hear about paradise.
But not enough about the people, the struggles or the stories we’ve inherited, and lost.
At Seychelles at Heart, we’re here to change that.
We uncover the untold stories of our people, examine the forces that shape our way of life and explore the relationship between culture, land and power.
This platform was founded by a young Seychellois couple, and brought to life by a small team of local writers, content creators and community builders, united by a deep love for the islands and a desire to foster meaningful change.
We’re committed to cultivating a platform rooted in understanding, respect and appreciation for Seychellois culture, while encouraging critical dialogue and collective action toward where we go from here.
Culture is not just something we inherit.
